This is Red Cloud. He is named after a Native America Hero. Red Cloud was Chief of the Oglala Lakota Sioux. He is famous for leading a successful campaign against the U.S. Army called "Red Cloud's War." His win was called The Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868. That Treaty preserved the Lakota hunting grounds a gift that was given to them by the Great Spirit. Red Cloud was also a strategist and a diplomat.
