I’ll never forget this moment. It was raw and beautiful. It was heavy and holy. To get to sing a song I wrote in the middle of deep grief to a room full of people who are walking through deep grief in the wake of the flooding in TX reminded me why I love music so much. Songs are stunning little bridge builders…connecting our stories and our souls with rhythm and poetry, lament and longing. When I sang “Give Me Your Hand” in Dallas a few weeks ago, I sang it to a room full of people who I knew we
