If you've been to West Bay recently you will have noticed the large sediment and shingle build-up at the harbour's entrance - and the 80m crane we now have in place to remove this storm debris. The recent south-easterly storms have seen one of the largest amounts of debris washed up here. We've not seen this amount in the last two decades. The latest set of essential repair works at Bridport Harbour - West Bay are now complete. Scaffolding will remain in place over the summer, as major works to provide a permanent solution for the harbour wall will begin in October.
