At a time of year when little counts regarding NBA scores and statistics, Miami Heat center Kel’el Ware made a definitive statement in Sunday night’s Las Vegas NBA Summer League loss

After an underwhelming start to summer league, Ware was far more aggressive, active and engaged, hitting a hook shot on Miami's first possession en route to an 11-point first quarter that also included an alley-oop dunk (from Javonte Cooke), a three-pointer, two blocks and a steal.

Erik Spoelstra's comments about Kel'el Ware have undoubtedly lit a fire within the young center, as he went on to record a dominant showing against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
