The account of the 3-year-old Sesame Street character turned hateful and certainly not suitable for kids. Here's what the hacked account said.

As of Monday afternoon, the most recent post on Elmo's X account featured a picture of the red, fuzzy muppet with his newly-adopted puppy, Tango. "Happy Gotcha Day Tango! Elmo is so lucky to have a furry friend like you!"

Unknown hackers took control of the Elmo account on X on Sunday, posting a string of anti-Jewish hate and calling President Trump a “child f—er.” The posts also called for the release of the so-called “Epstein files,” documents related to the investigation of child predator Jeffrey Epstein before he died by suicide in Manhattan prison in 2019.
