Rory McIlroy came into the 2025 Scottish Open needing to regain his form from earlier in the year after hitting some midseason doldrums following his Masters win to complete the career grand slam. Through 54 holes he's done just that,

McIlroy has come close to winning since that Sunday at Augusta National, but a 4-under 66 on Saturday gave him a share of the lead with Chris Gotterup.
