On Saturday afternoon, snow will move through the state from south to north, according to the National Weather Service. The snow will not accumulate more than an inch anywhere in Delaware and will give way to sleet and freezing rain throughout the evening. Eventually, it will change over to all rain.

There is a 30% chance of showers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Portland area, according to the National Weather Service. The snow level is at about 1,200 feet this morning and will rise to about 2,200 feet in the afternoon. The morning clouds should burn off for a mostly sunny afternoon with a high around 44 degrees.
