A federal judge in California temporarily blocked the Trump administration on Friday from conducting sweeping immigration raids and racially profiling people in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

"You have people who don't want to leave their homes, who are not going to work, and they are in need of cash," Mayor Karen Bass said at a press conference.
