A passenger on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston died on Tuesday evening, the airline and police said.

A US Army veteran and former member of the Kansas Air National Guard was identified as the woman who died while on an Air France flight home after celebrating her retirement from service, officials said.

A retired member of the Kansas Air National Guard hailing from Topeka died while on an international flight earlier this week.

The passenger who died on an AirFrance flight from Paris to Boston has been identified as Barbara DiPoli, 53, from Topeka, Kansas.
