Luke Kunin was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets by the San Jose Sharks on Friday for a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. The pick originally belonged to the St. Louis Blues. Blue Jackets general manager Don Waddell praised Kunin’s versatility.

In the midst of one of his best NHL campaigns, the Columbus Blue Jackets locked up forward Mathieu Olivier on a six-year deal on Wednesday.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired forward Luke Kunin from the San Jose Sharks. The Blue Jackets traded a 4th round pick (STL) to the Sharks for Kunin. But Kunin adds good depth to the roster as they prepare to make a push for the third spot in the Metro.
