The Indian home minister's account of forces killing who he said were three Pakistanis involved in the April attack on Hindu tourists in the Jammu and Kashmir federal territory was "replete with fabrications",

The heavily-armed men were killed in a military operation yesterday, more than three months after 26 people were gunned down in a popular resort town of Indian Kashmir on April 22. “I want to tell the parliament (that) those who attacked in Baisaran were three terrorists and all three have been killed,” he said.

Pakistan has rejected the Indian home minister’s remarks linking militants killed in Kashmir to the country, calling them “fabrications,” as tensions between the South Asian rivals remain high.
