Tigers All-Star Casey Mize (9-3) allowed six runs in three innings as Detroit was routed by the Seattle Mariners 15-7.

Much like his All-Star teammate Tarik Skubal did on Friday, July 11, Mize put in his worst start of the year right before the All-Star break as the Tigers lost 15-7 to the Mariners at Comerica Park. It was the most runs the Tigers have allowed in a game this season.

After Luis Castillo outpitched Tarik Skubal and Cal Raleigh broke another home run record on Friday night, the offense and pitching were on full display Saturday, too, during a 15-7 win that allowed the Mariners to claim an important series win.
