Three people are dead including the suspect, and three people were injured after a shooting took place near an airport and church in Lexington on Sunday, July 13.

Two women died Sunday at a church in Lexington, Kentucky, in a shooting rampage that began when a state trooper was wounded after making a traffic stop, police said.

Her family described her as deeply compassionate, noting her efforts to feed the homeless, organize a free church camp for kids, and cook Thanksgiving meals for people battling addiction.
