Volunteer operations have been suspended in Kerr County as heavy rainfall has triggered flash flood warnings. Highway 39 has also been closed to all travelers besides first responders and Kerr County residents. The conditions are life threatening and could flood creeks, streams, streets, highways, underpasses and "urban areas," according to the NWS.
