Bezos will soon marry Lauren Sánchez in Venice. Protesters say the city, already grappling with overtourism, is putting the wedding over their needs — which city officials and wedding organizers deny.

The director tapped for the new Bond series is Denis Ville­neuve, who is pals with Sweeney. Along with that, she allegedly has the backing of Bezos now, who obviously owns Amazon (which has creative control of the reboot).
