The first group of immigrants has arrived at a new detention center deep in the Florida Everglades that officials have dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

On Wednesday night, workers replaced the signs in front of the training facility with ones that read "Alligator Alcatraz."

In a court filing, the federal government says it has nothing to do with the state-run migrant detention center deep in the Everglades.
