Multiple outlets have reported that President Donald Trump has agreed to offer additional federal funding to northern Michigan counties impacted by the devastating ice storms last March.

Ice accumulations up to four-tenths of an inch expected across Alpena, Crawford, Oscoda, Alcona, Roscommon and Ogemaw counties with gusty winds likely causing power outages and tree damage.

Additional federal funding will be available to assist Northern Lower Michigan with recovery after the disruptive 2025 ice storm.
