FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A shooting in Fayetteville Thursday afternoon sent a man to the hospital, police said. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers responded just after 4 p.m.

The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. on Thursday along School Street. Officers said the man who was shot was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
