No president had a higher percentage of respondents rate them as “poor” than Trump; 48% described him that way while 6% rated the president as “below average.” Biden fared barely better, according to the survey. Half of respondents rated Biden as “poor” (38%) or below average (12%.)

For most of his first term, Trump leaned heavily on his solid footing as a steward of the economy and defender of the border to offset his erratic day-to-day antics.
