The Oscars will officially defy gravity in 2025. On Monday morning, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will bring their witchy magic to the Oscars stage.

Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, LISA of Blackpink, Queen Latifah and RAYE have been announced as musical performers for this year’s 97th Annual Academy Awards. The Academy says they will participate in “showstopping performances celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends at the 97th Oscars”.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are confirmed to perform at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2. The Wicked stars, both nominated for their roles as Elphaba and Glinda, will take the stage in a highly anticipated musical performance. While their song choice remains under wraps, fans are speculating a Wicked showcase.
