A massive winter storm sweeping across the U.S. is expected to bring snow to the Chicago area Saturday evening, with up to 6 to 7 inches possible with lake-effect snow.
The latest computer modeling continues to favor more rain than any snow. Both high and low temperatures will be too warm for snow through the early part of the weekend. You can expect off-and-on rain chances to remain fairly high for Friday through Saturday night.
