Caitlin Clark drew a record number of fan votes for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, but fellow players in the league didn’t show her as much love.

Many notable voices spoke out against the WNBA for the player voting results, perhaps none more passionately than ESPN's legendary college basketball analyst Dick Vitale.

Despite dominating the fan vote as the WNBA's leading all-star vote-getter by a record-setting margin, Fever star Caitlin Clark ranked as the ninth-best guard by players. Fellow players rated Clark as the second-best guard on her own team behind Kelsey Mitchell.
