A San Jose police officer was arrested on child sexual assault charges for alleged crimes against two sisters beginning in 2008, authorities said Tuesday.

San José Officer Saul Duran was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two minors between 2008-2012. He met the victims through a program where he worked.

San Jose Police Officer Saul Duran has been charged with five counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a child aged 14 or 15, which allegedly occurred while he was volunteering with a program sponsored by the District Attorney's Office between 2008 and 2012.
