Layoffs at the Industrial Boulevard site are expected to begin Sept. 2, and continue through Nov. 1, officials said.

Republic National Distributing Co., the nation’s second largest liquor distributor, will consolidate more than 300 Austin-area jobs in a new regional facility it’ll build in Pflugerville.

Republic National delivered about 6.6 million cases in the 2019 fiscal year and 6.08 million cases in 2018, according to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
