The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to face the Denver Broncos in Week 18, and there was plenty to take away from the Sunday afternoon contest.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18 to clinch a playoff berth for the first time since the 2015 season. While things looked bleak for the Broncos due to a late season skid, Denver earned the third Wild Card spot after finishing with a 10-7 record.

The Denver Broncos needed one win in their final three games to secure a playoff berth, but after back-to-back road losses they had to close things out against the rival Kansas City Chiefs. Fortune was with Denver on this one as the Chiefs had wrapped up homefield and were looking to rest most of their starters.
