The Chinese animated film 'Nezha 2' has overtaken 'Inside Out 2' (Pixar) to become the highest-grossing animated feature film of all time. With a global box office of 12.3 billion

This stat comes from Deadline, which notes Ne Zha 2 is also rocketing its way up the all-time highest-grossing list; it’s at number eight ( Inside Out 2 now sits at number nine), though it’ll take some doing for any movie to dislodge the James Cameron trio (plus a certain Avengers flick) that currently hold the top four spots.

Ne Zha 2 has been on a record-breaking run in China. Earlier this month the animated sequel became the first movie in history to cross $1 billon at the box office in a single market. The movie is currently only showing in mainland China and hasn’t been released internationally.
