Iga Swiatek took another stride towards tennis greatness as an all-court maestro after ruthlessly tearing apart American 13th seed Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 and lifting her first Wimbledon trophy on Saturday.

Iga Swiatek shut out Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon women's final Saturday in a match that lasted just under an hour. Swiatek won in consecutive sets, 6-0, 6-0. It was the first women's final at the tournament in 114 years in which one player failed to claim a single game.

Swiatek may not have completed a French Open four-peat but she is now on the verge of becoming a Wimbledon champion. Over the past fortnight, the 24-year-old has dropped only one set in six matches played at The Championships and she enters as the favorite to beat Amanda Anisimova in the title match.
