The Dodgers appear primed to make another run at the World Series, but that doesn't mean their winter work is done

With a looming deadline to sign that’s just over two weeks away, the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes are expected to soon pick up and the Los Angeles Dodgers are hoping they will be the team he chooses at what’s sure to be a climatic ending.

One of the biggest stories during this MLB offseason is where Japanese phenom Roki Sasaki will choose to sign. While teams around the league get their starting rotations sorted out for next season, some of the league’s most iconic organizations are waiting to see if Sasaki chooses to join their club.

Teoscar Hernández will be in right field for the Los Angeles Dodgers next season when the World Series champions try to defend their title.

After testing the free agency waters, Teoscar Hernández returned to the Los Angeles Dodgers on a three-year, $66 million contract that includes a team option for the 2028 season.

Buehler is expected to sign with the Boston Red Sox for one year and $21.05 million — the same as the qualifying offer the Dodgers chose not to extend to him.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have given up on the former No. 1 prospect in their farm system, leaving an opening for the Red Sox to "get involved."

"I think this team is ready to be able to compete in the division and in the whole league,” said Buehler, a free agent righthander who signed a one-year, $21.05 million deal with the Red Sox.
