Great fun to ride. Very old, but look stunning. Gives you the real San Francisco feel. We used the Muni app that allowed us to ride almost all SF transport. Full review by 931laurencep

These are the iconic popular cars that distinguish San Francisco streets as used to be seen in some movies and old video games. There are cars that can be ridden for a tour near the piers region. Full review by AMohsen
Are the Streetcars separate to the Cable cars or Trams? If so, do they all go to different destinations?

Greetings Mel A, The Street Cars are completely different from the Cable Cars and MUNI buses. Street cars will share routes with the buses but not at all with the Cable Cars. If you google San Francisco's Historic Rail Lines you can find a map that shows where all the Cable Car and Street Car Lines are located. My recommendation when you get ready to ride the historic rails is to buy a full day pass at one of the many kiosks or get one from a driver or conductor. The pass is about $25 and is good til midnight. A couple of rides will pay for the pass. The Street Cars run from Fisherman's Wharf to the Embarcadero. There the street car line splits and goes to either the Castro District or to Giant's Stadium. For me it is a lot of fun to get on the Cable Cars and Street Cars and just ride them to the end of the line. Then turn around and go back. By the way, if you are at the Fisherman's Wharf Powell/Hyde turntable, look across the street (Beach Street and Hyde Street intersection) and locate the Buena Vista Cafe and go over there for a world famous Irish Coffee. Say "Hi" to Paul (behind the bar) for me. Enjoy your visit to San Francisco. Cheers
